I see. My boyfriend's afraid of needles so I'm sure if I got something like that, he'd be squeamish. I'm okay with things like that, though.

I'm semi scared of needles, I used to be terrified, but then I was in a life threatening situation, and you kindof get used to getting poked and iv'ed haha.

That would do it. Haha. My story of how I came to not be scared of needles is much lamer. I was about 4 years old or so. I was always scared of needles and gave my nurses a hard time each time. One day, I gave my nurses a hard time as usual, screaming and bawling, and finally got my shot. The boy that came after me was maybe a year older than me but he was quiet and calm. The nurses, exasperated after me, praised him and asked him if he's not scared and he said, "Well, crying isn't going to make it hurt less, so..." and then I realized it was true and then I wasn't scared of needles after that.

Thats a cute story though. XD
I was hospitalized for a month because I almost died. They drew my blood almost every day, and I had to get a central line put in 3 different times.
I still don't like needles, but at least now I don't almost have a panic attack each time someone gives me a shot.
