Busy busy girl. Wish that sort of thing was doable here. I've started focusing more on historical costuming and recreating historical pieces for my own daily wear, tbph...

ETA: Went to the podiatrist today (May 12). Right toe is good, left toe got both sides treated. Surprisingly big pieces of toenail removed. Gotta call and make an appointment for a follow-up in two weeks, because I forgot to do that on my way out the door.

But at least I have ice cream. and I'm not going outside again for another couple hours. The UV index is VERY High right now.

Aww, me too, it'd be a good job for you.

Should we start calling you Bernadette Banner?

Ow ow ow.

I was suckered by the rain this morning and didn't take the sunhat to work. D'oh!

lol I don't have the type of calm energy she has. Nor do I have the patience to really articulate what I'm doing.

The worst part of the toe saga was the first night as the numbing wore off, and the first full day after. I soaked my foot in warm water with Epsom salts last night, which helped a lot, and have really only had issues with my bedsheets being weirdly uncomfortable on that foot.

Always carry an umbrella. And a towel.

Bernadette is really calm. It makes the times she geeks even more entertaining.

Arghhh. Poor toe.

Brollies don't really work here. The wind busts them like nothing. Usually that sun hat that I didn't bring is enough brolly, but that time I'd worn the rain coat instead.

It is. And she's got a book coming out VERY soon that I am VERY interested in acquiring.

At least it is healing. It looks pretty bad still, but it's only been a few days.

Speaking of toes, Dad lost two today. He joked he can only count to 17 now.

Still. Always keep a towel on you.

*nod nod* I watched her talking about it.

*sympathy* Don't kick anything. *looks down at toenail made hideous by kicking the wrong thing*

Awww.

lol

Dad had me bring up his book on quitting smoking last night. no idea if he'll actually give it the necessary effort this time, or if it's just one of those things he'll look into then drop once it gets difficult.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I was gone on a five day business trip to another Province. Which included a three day sale that started early and ended late. XD Guess what state I'm in.

No worries. Things have been a bit hectic here. On Sunday, my uncle who had brain cancer passed away. And last night, we got a new family member. I'll email you pictures :3

FUZZY BEEEBEE! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

...Funny thing is, I dreamed of cuddling a kitten and making it purr the night before last when my brain was still on the hamster wheel from the work trip. It was just a short haired baby, though.
