Didn't you work at a call center at one point, though?
And today it was mid-upper 20s. still is as of this writing.
*just takes comfort in the snuggling of the doggo*
The character is a robot whose body is 90% junk they've scavenged from various parts of the city. They think their name is "Hey, you, get out of there!", because that's what they've heard most often shouted at them in their rummaging. They're also not terribly bright or wise yet. My small, dumb trash baby. I love them so much.
Once I can get the doll head sculpted, I kinda wanna try my hand at sculpting a body based on my own shape, with the option for a pudgy or non-pudgy body.

Yeah, it was hot at work today. That hurt. XD
tpCodyJr: *sleeps on you?*
Awww, so (distant) cousin to my Sewercons. Cute!
Nice. :)
I feel SO blah.

That still counts.
*cuddles pupper*
Kinda, but also not. Warforged. It's a D&D character.

Places around here don't seem to think so. And they wouldn't like the fact that I left that job myself.
tpCodyjr: *whisper woofs at something in a dream. So much whisper woof*
*hug* I was meaning figuratively. Sorry.
BIG windy here today. Not the kind that makes me restless, but it nearly wouldn't let me cross the street on the way home in one place!

Last night sucked. today sucked. last night, mom came downstairs, crying. Cisco kept peeing outside his litter box, so she made the decision to have him put down. she wouldn't take a personal day to come with me to the vet's. he'd been sick for awhile, and had dropped over half his body weight in a short amount of time, and was jaundiced as fuck. he was practically skin and bones at this point, and it was just time.

Yup. since January of 2008. that's when we first started talking to each other.
To add insult to injury this week... Found out that Mom's older sister's husband, my Uncle Ted (who has been Aunt Jan's husband for nearly as long as I can remember, though i do vaguely remember her first husband, and visiting that Uncle in North Platte, Nebraska, at one point), has brain cancer.
I also got an ingrown toenail dealt with.

Wow. *tells the virtual Codyjr to give you kisses and snuggles*
Oh man. *sympathy*
My ingrown toenail is still making the world miserable when I poke it. The last person to cut my nails knew as little about it as I do, and made a mess.

I have a very good memory for when I first meet people who stick around for a long time. *cuddles TPFCodyJr*
This week has been a WEEK.
You might wanna look into booking an appointment with a podiatrist to get it dealt with. Honestly, from my own experience, the worst part is getting the numbing done (and that was more because of the cold spray the doc used to numb where the numbing shot went in, because it dripped down along my foot), and then hours later, once the numbing starts to wear off (didn't hurt. just tingled and felt weird af and uncomfortable as a result of the weird feeling). and the next day (today), my outer calf hurt a bit, likely due to either the weird position or me tensing up or something, but my toe doesn't hurt at all.
You'll also need Epsom salt to do daily soaking afterward (15 minutes a day, 2 tablespoons per quart of warm water), antibiotic cream (Neosporin or the generic), gauze pads, and bandage tape to wrap the toe with after soaking each day.
I'll be wearing flip-flops for the time being, because comfort reasons. which means I'll have to deal with slight discomfort from sand getting in between my shoes and my feet when I walk Maxwell.

Aww.
tpCodyjr: *snuggles, little grumbly talks*
I don't think mine's quite bad enough for surgery yet. From what the doctor says I just need the nail taped. But the tape fell off from being soaked in road salt and snow, and I haven't had time to get over there again.
