yes. but it's so complicated... like. some minerals are a variety of other minerals. neither fluorite nor wulfenite are, but what if I want to draw a knuffel that would be? should I draw the variety then, or the "basic" mineral? and I thought that all minerals are part of some group, but there is no group specified for kynite. what does it mean? on the other hand, kyanite is a polymorph to two other minerals. if I draw a knuffel, should I draw it as a mix of all three or should I divide them into different knuffel? and there are minerals that commonly grow together with other minerals, have inclusions of each other, ets. should it be reflected on a knuffel? like, for wulfenite there is a mineral in the same group, and together they form a series. it even has a double formula. crazy.

because it's the appearance that inspires, in the first place XD
the assessment, the formula, the ritual use, the use in technology and chemistry, all comes later
and also what would it change? if I ever get to "complex" minerals, I'll have to spend time figuring it all out anyway XD
