It's a terrible job and he hates it, and so do I.
He never gets time off, only one day a week, he works ALLLLL day,
the only time he gets off otherwise is when it rains, and it has to be
like RAINING-raining like a thunderstorm, which it rarely does. And then
during the winter since there's not much LAND to scape anymore,
it's snow drills. And then he's gone whenever it snows. And when THAT
happens he's out in the cold for 24+ hours, shoveling ALL the sidewalks
in multiple neighborhoods, driving ski-loaders, etc. And I hate that the most,
because at least now he goes in at one time and comes home at night.
When it's winter, it can start snowing at 2am and they'll call him in to work,
then I won't see him again until like 8am two days later. =___o
Which is good money too but it's about the same, cuz instead of set
hours, he gets basically the same amount of hours only he does it all
in like 3 days in a row, day and night. >_> It's shit. And it worries me because
the winters are starting to suck big-time [ yay Global Warming lol ] and
it snows its ass off during the winter, and that means getting stuck in the
snow and car accidents and ice everywhere. :C *Grumbles*

Winter is everywhere in the US. But it only gets reeeeally cold and snows
and stuff in the North and to the East. The South and the West is usually
hot. And in the Winter it's LESS hot, but not really cold. I'm sure
it feels cold to them, though. 8u

About your husband's job..... You could consider another job once you think there's enough to go 'round. I mean, BOTH of you hate it so much, so.....

Really! Pretty ridiculous, but if the living cost is just as low then I guess it doesn't matter.

On a related note, I always thought it was ridiculous how people complain about "immigrants stealing jobs" since I was assuming minimum wage was in place, but I guess it does make slightly more sense if there is no minimum wage and people can pitch competitively low prices.
