naw. Romantic/Hoop (1850s-1868) is the megapoof sleeves, though megapoofs came back into fashion during the Belle Époque (1890-1901), just more up top than whole sleeve.

I would've loved the company. All this isolation is lonely as pit.

Okay. And that was the era that one Legacy came from, IIRR. I moved her to live with the Lamonts, btw, so that the little Denver who loved Seaspray would have someone she loved with her. Eugenia lives with Seaspray now. I can just imagine little Lady Legacy and her skinny little Lumen dog trying to be busy in the kitchen with the other girls and house pets.

Awwww. *sympathy* I feel you. I'm really angsting about the market and Sunday school being closed for two weekends.

yeah. She was Civil War Era Victorian England.

I haven't seen Razzie in two years, going on three. I miss my tiny, sweary Brit.

Awww. Yeah. I know how that can feel. Though right now I'm mostly missing Arnold. And finally mourning a kitten I gave to my parents years and years ago.

LOL! The newer suit reminds me of modern womens' sport dresses.

I've got a long list of people I miss... including some who weren't actually all that good for me to be around.

I actually stumbled upon a few yards of dark pink satin and a shorter length of lighter pink satin... I'm thinking of making myself a couple pretty corsets with them, since I won't be using them for the costume I originally bought them for.

Awww! Nice. Did you see Isabella's video about that poor corset that lasted so long, and wasn't made well to start with? It really resonated with me. Like, if I'd been alive then, that would've probably been what my stays looked like.

Speaking of which, I'm getting so sick of stinky bra band that I'm about ready to go looking for a corded corset to wear instead.

Just remember to wear a shirt under it. and look into getting it properly made/fitted to you. if it's not made to fit you, it'll be uncomfortable as hell. Cording will probably be enough support for you. Me on the other hand... My corsets from here on out are gonna have synthetic baleen, as opposed to spiral steel.

I'm a B now, but the girls don't bounce as much as the belly, so I'm good. And yup, shirt under, and for fitsing on me.
