Nah. I got you. :qh:

I don't know if I'd go so far as putting them in prison, but I do wish they'd be some place where people treat them well but are aware enough not to develop personal feelings toward them. Give them no opportunity to be abusive.

Hahaha!

I noticed. What happened? I was a bit worried. I'm glad you're back. I didn't end up going to the party or to the movie. I did end up taking a walk with the same friend and going to the Lego Store with my boyfriend. It was nice. How was your weekend? How was your birthday?

My birthday was just a normal day xD

I've been feeling kind of meh.
Not wanting to talk much xD

Well, I'm glad you still had a good time 8u
We don't have a Lego store.
We don't have anything >Bu

Oh well. My birthdays are like that, too. I prefer quiet birthdays myself.

Okay. I understand. :qsml:

The lego store was 2 hours away. We had reasons to be in the area so that's the only reason we went. lol

My family lives in Houston and there's a giant Asian market there.
I think we had to drive over 30 minutes away, or just felt like it, but it was so awesome.
They had so many Japanese snacks and a lot of other stuff that I didn't recognize.
I had never seen so many Asian people 8u
Where I am is mostly white, black and Mexican.
I will see Indians and sometimes Chinese and Middle Eastern, but not a lot.
Not that it's a bad thing, it just shows no one really wants to live here and those that do, have to and can't afford to leave >Bu
And literally, my city is known for a cult, three murders, a couple that fixes houses and a giant tornado.
Why would ANYONE want to live here >BU

Incidentally, my dad told me that the Native Americans that founded this area, that is named after them, chose this place because tornadoes, storms and such pass over it. Which is usually true. The bad tornado we had was in 1953.
And there's this 22 story building downtown that didn't fall.
Most of downtown was totally destroyed, but that building just swayed xD

Awesome. I live in Koreatown, basically. Lots of Korean people and Korean shops, which is pretty handy. My area is known for a serial killer,
too. lol

That's funny. My town name is derived from a First Nation word,
too. Coast Salish I think having to do with Salmon. Probably chosen because salmon. :qlol: We don't get a lot of bad weather either, thankfully. Just a lot of rain. Sometimes flooding. When it snows, it stays forever because it's on a hill and there're a lot of trees here providing cool shades for snows to stick around under.

That's great engineering! That's why buildings are built to sway.
If they were completely rigid, they'd just break. :qlol:

Zia: You can get food and possibly murdered 8u
But the food is really good U8

We get a lot of rain. Most we've had flooded our backyard a little.
Like ankle deep flooding. If even that.
It did put this picnic area by the lake totally under water 8u

>XD
Damn eternal snow >8u

>XD
Break like a cookie dunked into milk 8,u
But that building is still there and people work there.
My grandpa told me he used to have to go to the 13th floor.

Well, the serial killer was apprehended a decade ago. And he exclusively killed prostitute so as long as you're not a prostitute you'd have been fine, too. :qt:

We get a lot of rain, too. Our nickname is Raincouver, after all.
Better than Winterpeg. The office I worked at would get annual flooding and then we'd have to rent space at a community college to teach instead.

Seriously, man. It stays until June, I swear.

That's great. What did he do at the 13th floor? At least he didn't have to go to 4th floor.

Hopefully the victims didn't end up in the food 8u

I always wondered why people choose to go to places where natural disasters occur a lot.
Like my dad said "I want to move to California 8u" and I said "They have earthquakes there >>" and he said "Well, WE get tornadoes >>" and I said it's not the same as the earth opening up and swallowing people xD
But to be honest, California seems like a good place to get variety from.

We got snow in April once. We all thought it was Hell freezing over and spreading 8u
I've only seen snow a handful of times in my life.
I'd love until June snow 8,u

>XD
Riiiight 4 and 13 are cursed numbers 8u
I never got that. Like if you don't put the numbers...there's still a 4th and 13th floor.
He was a mechanic. He worked on snack machines and coffee makers and such.
He never finished school, but he was a highly intelligent man - especially when it came to working on machines.

They were buried. One of the bodies got unearthed and that kind of sparked the investigation, I believe. Though it's possible some of the farm animals did end up eating the cadaver.

I don't know... I guess I'd rather be shaken than picked up from the ground and dropped from 1000 miles in the air.

No, it's terrible. By then it's all gross and slushy with patches of black ice underneath. You don't want summer snow. You might want fresh summer snow, but not snow that's been hanging out on the ground until summer. It's gross.

We had snow in the middle of August once. It turned out to be people shooting a commercial. :qlol: My students were super confused, though.

NOT UNLESS YOU FILL THE ENTIRE FLOOR WITH CONCRETE AND MAKE IT SO THAT THE ELEVATOR DON'T EVER STOP ON THAT FLOOR

Awesome. I wish things like that were more common nowadays.

I just saw your trade. How long has that been there u8
I have some trades open, so I didn't notice yours xD

That's really sad. But it's good they were found.
I think it's worse to know someone's dead, and not know where their remains are.
There was a story about a man that fed his kid to the pigs.
It just utterly pisses me off that anyone can have children, but don't deserve them.

All natural disasters suck. It just seem scarier to me that the earth can crack open and people can fall in xD;

That's the kind of snow we get >XD
A little, but tons of dirt >Bu
Lasts for about an hour then the sun comes out and it warms up.
It's so rare here, that when it snows, schools just let kids go out and play in it.
They cancelled two classes of mine just to let us play in the snow xD

>XD
I used to live in shitty motels and they all never had a room 13.
I just find it weird. I can be superstitious, but not about the number 13.

I think he missed maybe 1-3 days of work in the over 30 years he worked at that job.
He was a really strong and amazing person.
He had his faults, though.
But he was so intelligent when it came to working on machines and cars.
He could spot any problem and have it fixed quickly.
My dad even bought a brand new part for a car and when it wasn't working, my grandpa said it was faulty.
My dad said "I just bought it! How could it be faulty!?"
Sure enough, the brand new part was faulty.
And no one could lie to him. He could always tell if you were lying.
I think what was truly amazing was when my grandma died, he never remarried or dated.
He went through life without her and we hope he's with her now and they're happy.
