Need what they call slip shorts. ...So do I. The time I bought some though I got the wrong size.

Ohhh. No. Sock yarn would be great! Proly better proportions than the heavy knit tubing stuff I made Amethyst's sweater from, but she's being extra so I guess it fits. I just have to figure out what style of bottoms I want to put on her now. And stop worrying that the backless style makes her too "sexy".

backless doesn't have to mean "sexy". can just mean "I feel comfy in this."

This one basically means, "This is the best my mother could figure out, and then she decided it looked rebellious enough for me."

Now I just need to decide what kind of bottoms to make for her. She's got that sweater, some platform shoes with skull and heart beads in the clear soles, and her tattoos that she came with.

something simple in a neutral color?

I'm still working on my shawl/lapghan. I need to get another connector so I can properly work on it without having to bunch stuff up on the needles...

If I could sew stretch and had the material I'd sew her some dark purple or black shorts, and then make her a half skirt of this sheer black broidry anglaise type lace I just got.

*patpat* Remember, I'm both an artist and a goth. I know these things. lol

Stretch is kinda tricky to work with, but it's worse on a machine. Best bet is to take it slow, and use a backstitch for strength. That way, if the seams go, it's 'cause of the fabric, not the stitching.

ETA: MAH BIG GIRL ARRIVED TODAY. I have to make her new eyes though, 'cause they sent brown ones with her.

Awww. Everybody else gets brown in the random, and way back when I got Tesla (my lu), I wanted anything but blue, and got blue.

Nika has red eyes. I'm gonna be making Mini Den blue/grey eyes.
