Today was a circus. especially getting our phones upgraded. went from "Oh, this won't take long, and we'll have the afternoon to relax at home" to "It's closing time and we just now got Mom's phone to be able to do calls." My phone took about two hours to get upgraded, with all the stuff I transferred over...

Oh. Remember Anna, the little doll you painted the head for? She has clothes! I bought a Blythe dress from a new seller on Etsy, and she included socks and boots that she'd made. So Anna is finally fully dressed in clothes that belong to her and suit her aesthetic (mori girl/Holly Hobby).

D'awww! I'm glad she's not nudiebutt anymore.

Well, she's had underwear for awhile. And someone else's dress (someone I regret giving away, but can't even remember where I sent her. *shakes head at self*), but now she's got her OWN. And it's purple. So are her socks.

We've been dealing with storms off and on for the past few days... my head is not pleased by this... and we're expecting more in the near future, so naturally, my head had to protest by migraining.

It's not as bad as it could be, pain-wise, and I can at least brain well enough to read the charts on my rainbow shawl knitting project. After I get through the current chart, I'll just have the border to knit in purple.

Nooope. Or looking like a raggamuffin in the borrowed outfit. She looks pretty good now. She's also hugging her doll close and not speaking to me. Seems she objects to boony streaking or having dresses removed.

I negotiated today to crochet dishcloths for a lady who sells them at the farmers market. Not for pay, but to keep me focused and from getting overload when I work.

I don't blame her, lol.

Naw, no china bun. I have Natalie though, and I need to make her some new dresses soon, 'cause she's asking for a more comfortable summer outfit (the temperatures here fluctuate between low to mid 20s to 40+ in the summer), and she said something about a sweater dress a few days ago...

I've decided that I wanna get into painting matryoshka but only if the dolls are painted as TTRPG characters...

...I sometimes boony and shirt streak around the house. Kind of necessary for me in summer. LOL Anna hates that, too. Most of the rest of the dolls just go, "Wow... humans look WEIRD."

Awww. Natalie. OH! I crocheted a sleeveless sweater for Amethyst Rae! It's got a turtle neck or mock turtle neck, corset lacing around the waist, and an open back. It's fuzzy and sparkly deep purple. Also, I have realized what Anna's lovely socks are made from. I realized this when I looked at my new purple floral Fruit of the Looms. XD What do you think you'd make the sweater dress out of?

honestly, if my thighs didn't rub together in a way that is awful sensory-wise, I'd have boonie streaked all summer except for going out last few years. Can't do that anymore 'cause Dad's home pretty much all day every day now that he's retired.

I've got a pretty cream wool that'd make a nice sweater dress for her... it's technically a sock yarn, but at her size, it won't look weird as clothes.
