I have been doing some major cleaning, so I have been doing some major slacking on my reading! I spent $2 at the library and bought 4 Shannara books and 2 Star Trek books.

I've heard of the TV series Shannara Chronicles only.

I am almost through Narnia 6. Going to finish it today as I am going to ride a few busses and I have an appointment so I will have enough time to read while waiting.

I watched season 1 of the show. Season 2 just started, but I haven't watched it yet. Looks like they're doing a book a season. I haven't read all the books, but I have read the ones that season 1 and 2 are about.

So are the books and the series alike :) ?

It's been a while since I read the books, so I can't say 100%. But I do remember that the end was the same in season 1 and in that book.

Narnia is special I'd say, you have to like that kind of style and stories :)

I thought the books that I read were just ok. Nothing terribly special. But I did enjoy the show, and I do plan to keep watching it.
