I actually just got done moving my whole book collection, you'd have thought I'd count the suckers while I was doing it, but nooooooo...
I think I have somewhere around 500 tankoban and 700 books of various fiction and non fiction. Lots of big hardcover history books. Those were the worst to move. >___<

I don't know an exact number, but I have a headboard with bookshelves that is full, a bookcase in my room that's full, four shelves on the family bookcase that are all full, and another stack that as of right now doesn't really have anyplace to go. And then there's my craft books tucked into my craft station. And I'm going book shopping tomorrow. >.>

...My house could pass as a library. And in my room I have a bed and the rest of the furniture is 6 decent sized book shelves, a table covered in stuff and a sofa. I don't know if I would survive if I tried to count them all, I might starve to death.

I have 300+ mangas. I haven't counted them since last year, but I have bought at least 20 new ones since the new year. I don't think I'll be counting them anytime soon since the ones I don't have displayed on my bookcase are in boxes >.<
As for regular reading books: I say about 50 of them since I usually just borrowed them from the library. I have about 10 ebooks for my nook though. So I have about 60 books then >.<

A whole library! Literally!
Our family has a lot of money and we have a giant room with nothing but old books, a table, some leather couches and a fireplace always filled with real wood. It's beautiful! Although, my personal collection not shared by the family takes up a whole bookshelf and then tons of drawers and under the bed...I couldn't count them haha. I've read all the ones in my room, obviously not all the ones in our library

Err. . .
I have a lot. Over two hundred hundred, actually. I'm not quite sure of the actual number anymore, because they're scattered throughout the house in various drawers and on shelves/tables.
I have a feeling I've forgotten some, too.

I have 20-30 in my bookcase but my mom has over 50 by the same author lol
