I can't imagine having to really learn something that involves technology extensively. I can't even work out how Excel works now after following a whole damn course. I have this nasty thing that if I don't keep up the practicing/use of something I'll really just forget half of it after a week or two. People are always so nice to offer me to teach but I always tell them honestly that if its not something I will be using every single day for the rest of time, don't bother cause I'll forget the first part by the time they're through with their explanation T3T"

well, I made it onto forums like KofK for the last several years, so it can't be all bad! And I've got an email that I remember to check relatively regularly.... it's coming along.

I love how easy kofk is as a site, at least imo it is. I had an account on Gaia and people were really into making their own profiles/customising things etc and boy that just went waayy over my head c':

Yes! KofK is really nice that way to beginners!
And it doesn't make you learn lots and lots of complicated things all at once, you can just stick with a small corner of it for a while and then slowly explore the rest.


(Popodoki I am so confused about how your OC actually makes a transformation between his two forms. Do I need to work out the engineering of this? At least a little so that there are the rights seams in the right places so that he can go back and forth? Or is it like a magical-girl-anime-transformation thing where the physics don't really have to match up too much?)

No engineering necessary! Even in canon some artists prefer to keep designs simple or intricate based on their own style and taste. The transforming can also be shown differently like sometimes they depict it and other times its just from one panel to the next the bot is now a car etc
