Yeah, the first few episodes of most things are less interesting than later on. I always curse that fact when I'm trying to show my friends a show xD "Wait, wait, it gets more awesome, I swear!". They kind of have to do it though, or the characters/plot wouldn't make any sense.

I don't know how some people will just use one episode and decide if they like it or not.
I feel you can't really judge a show by its first episode.
I usually give between 3-5 episodes but if they are really long, then i'll probably do 10 or something.
It was honestly the Shinsengumi that kept me watching the show xD

The Shinsengumi are good, but honestly I'm a big Katsura fan xDDD I Love him.
I suppose I can usually tell from one episode if I really just hate the writing of it, but if I don't *hate* it, I'll certainly give it more than one episode before I decide it's no good.

xD Hijikata is good too. Except for the mayo, oh god, I feel like barfing whenever I watch him with that stuff xD;;;
It's every better when he comes up with his own alias for something, and can't even stick with it because he corrects everyone automatically, pffft.

The interview episode was awesome xD Can't beat the one where he's trying to get a driver's license though, that one I laughed so hard I cried.

I need to see the serious episodes. They sound good, it's just whenever I was watching it before, my friend was in control of the computer and kept showing me all the funnier ones xD And I'm busy with so many series, I need to find time to sit and watch it by myself, pfft. I did see the last movie, which was probably a whopping 40% seriousness, LOL. And it was really good.
Yeah, the driver's license is probably my favourite too xD

But um.. sotano means basement, I think in Spanish. In the game they say Italian but google tells me otherwise...
