I just went back from my weekend and saw it.
It's awesome! I love having a fully personal layout (instead of the more classical one we had before).
May I just suggest the yellow background to be a bit less bright?
I think it would be easier for the eye

I see the speech bubble icons were changed. I think they look better now and it's easier to tell whats on it. I didn't have a problem with the last one either though.

I thought the books in the bubbles before were cute, but I have to say I love the new bubbles even more~ Especially the cupcake 8D

LOVE the new layout! It's gorgeous! the bubbles are the cuttest things ever >_< the bazaar cupcake looks so yummie XD Can't wait to see the whole forum like that! Thanks Firn!

I have changed the bubbles, made them a bit smaller, made what's on them clearer and changed their position a bit so they do not overlap in hope it would take away some of the clutter some people talked about.
We have also just changed the color of the yellow to a slightly more dim one, tell me what you think or if you even notice the change, it is not a big one.
Unfortunately my monitor seems to be a lot dimmer than some other people's, because the yellow really did not seem bright to me in any way, it wasn't even a real yellow to me, more a vanilla. But these things can really depend a lot depending on your computer's monitor.
If I make the yellow even more dimmer, it will look dark and gloomy for me.

I've noticed the new bubbles.
The old ones did not overlap for me at all, but I agree these ones look cuter than them.
I hardly notice the change in the color to be honest.
Maybe it's just me (each screen is different from another one after all) but the color of that menu when it's highlighted (the clearer vanilla) looks nicer to me. Maybe just switching them?

To me it looked like the color you get now when you highlight the text before I just changed it.
I am sorry, I am really trying to please as many people as possible, but I think this is not getting us anywhere as the colors seem to look a lot different to each one of us.

Oh feedback is helpful! And I tried to change the layout after all, but this one is tricky - because I am not seeing what other users are seeing here and it's impossible for me to fix something I can't see. I am trying, but I think that's the best I can do. Or does it look even worse for you now? Then I would change it back to how it was before.
