I actually think that Vindrae's chibis are very "anime-ish" but technically speaking, nothing here is anime:
anime is a Japanese style of motion-picture animation, characterized by highly stylized, colorful art, futuristic settings, violence, and sexuality.
but as it says, "highly stylized, colorful art" is what I think Vindrae's art is. I have tried to make chibis resembling them but fail miserably, so indeed Vindrae is good XD
and if you look at the NPC's and look at pretty much any other "anime-ish" style, they are not really that different, which is why I don't completely understand the statements saying that they don't fit

I love Firn's and Vin's art. They're two artists that motivate me to work hard.
But I somewhat agree that Firn's art seems like it fits more.
But it's great that Vin helps. I know things can get hectic and people get busy.
I appreciate the effort you put in and all your hard work, Vin.
You make the best clothes and it makes me sick with jealousy (in a good way xD) and you know I love your somewhat dark overtones.
(I say that right?)
I'm glad to have some info on the NPCs.

Delphinia, I know Anime comes from Japan. >_> Anime/Manga styles can be drawn in any country though, and still hold the same meaning.
Firns old art, back before Vin started drawing things, felt very cute, and more closely related to that of Japans style, and in my opinion, felt better for the site. Vin's stuff is a lot darker, and Lucretia scares me. >_>
But Firn and Vin both use different styles to portray the same thing.
It's simply personal opinion concerning if I think the art fits well with the site or not.

I love both styles of art, they are both very much appealing to me and I think they are both beautifully done.

I love the new pictures and the story behind them, but I liked the old ones as well.
I guess, it can be said that they both have a quite different style, so they can't really be compared although they're drawing the same characters. I mean, look at fanart stuff or OC art; you'll find that the styles differ a lot, but many of them are great, even if they're not similar.
I like the "gloominess" of the new pictures, and I liked the loveliness of the old ones.
