I don't think it would have helped.
My mom just payed them again and we never went back.

That's what I usually do when I don't get a proper service.
I just don't return. Ever.

Yeah, people like that don't deserve our business.
My mom is scared of telling people off because she has a felony record.
I'm scared of people and avoid them, but if they piss me off I will confront them and tell them off.

I tend to not confront people.
They don't attend well their business, I don't do business with them at all. That simple.
I will hire someone else's services, and that's it.

Know what?
Phone companies are trying to scam me :mcargh:
They phoned me to inform me that my company was raising their fees. (Which is not true.)
Only an hour later, another company phoned me to make an offer - so I would hire their services instead!
I can't believe they are playing this kind of tricks :mcdead:

I know my aunt got a scam call about a warrant being out for her arrest.
Someone claiming to be with the police and asking for her info.

I don't like scammers xD

I was really really mad.
My husband googled about it, and apparently it's an scam run by the very own phone companies - just to fuck other companies - and it's been going on for years already.

That sounds very illegal and I don't know why they're allowed to do that 8u

Indeed!
I guess they just avoid getting caught.
Maybe set another company just to do the hiring, which would be harder to trace.
Or simply people do not report it to authorities.

The fact it's known to be a thing though isn't a very good way to not get caught.
I'm sure there's some random loophole letting them do it without getting in trouble.

Yeah, you're right.
They probably found some loophole.
They probably search for loopholes all the time.
