Was rereading a story the other day I did with the mtmte Galeas you gave me. Poor kid had been trying to fix the engine of the /Mirror/. Of course he didn't know the right way, so he kept breaking his hand. And hiding it from his mom and Scattershot so they wouldn't worry.

Galeas... *headshake* poor kid needs to be taught to let people help.

He would go to Random's sister Iaso for help putting his hand back together, because she's his friend who also can't read but is a medic kid. But he thought that the engine repair would cost money, and Barque was having a hard time getting any jobs then. Random brought him home finally one day after accidentally knocking him over, and then repaired the engine.

Awww. He and Random would get along well.

They haven't had a long enough visit yet to figure that out. But like I say, he's one of Random's sister's friends. Random's best friend has a similar sunny personality, but is a furry organic boy who is also an engineer.

They'll get there. I foresee many misunderstandings 'til they figure out how the other communicates.

Maybe. They're both guys with busy schedules, so their paths don't cross except rarely at the library or at Optimus's ship. But they'll be amiable acquaintances anyway.
