Firn, does it matter how they evolve? I only made one hairstyle change that actually made things worse, I'd rather not try another...

@ Shadow- To be perfectly honest, I admire people who can make smooth lineart on Photoshop. O_O For some reason it's always kinda jagged for me, so I prefer SAI cause the lines draw much smoother. *shrug*

Oh, so maybe it's the program and not my lack of skill XD
I'll try SAI trial version then, I have so many ideas for Knuffels, I would love to share all of them ^^

I am not sure what you mean by this. Yes, it matters how they evolve. They should evolve noticeably.
What hairstyles have to do with that I don't know. You can keep the hairstyle the same through all evolutions, though personally I alway think it just makes a nice change to the overall image and makes it easier for me. You don't have to change the hair though if you do not like.

THIS! I never understood how anyone can actually draw in photoshop, can't make a straight line there to save my life!
I think photoshop is overrated as drawing program anyways. I often have the impression many people think in order to make good art you need a "good" (=expensive) art program, but in the end you are the one making the art, not the program. I think photoshop is good for image editing, but for drawing it is completely useless to me.

I am thinking... Maybe I should prostpone the girl I'm working on, and make one that shows how much a character has developed.. Might be in the same theme as "Fallox". Oh, on request I'll place all of his stages.

Just feeling like it.

What do you use for drawing, Firn? If I may ask.

It might not be the program, but for me it seemed like SAI really took the jagged edge off. I do lineart much faster now. O.O

@ Serendair- It's like photoshop, but slightly different. I've worked on both and they're pretty similar. I think it's a bit like gimp too, though I barely used that. But I hear there's a free trial version of SAI you can get, otherwise it costs money. :mcdead: I really like how easy to use SAI is so it's my program of choice, but all the programs I've tried have their pros and cons.

@ Firn- Haha, I know what you mean! Sometimes the 'good' programs just make everything more difficult! I used to just draw on paper and scan it into photoshop cause the darn this is impossible for me to make lines in! I like that SAI acts a bit more like drawing on paper, but it's still not quite the same. ;o;
