Kingdom of Knuffel

one of my long-time friends (Seriously. i've known the guy since 2005) is getting married on Halloween. Costumes are encouraged, but he knows how Midwest falls are, and said if costumes aren't feasible, dress nice. I'm going as a plague doctor, as is another long-time friend. I'm honestly hoping it's a little chilly (outdoor wedding), so I can make my plague doctor coat fully lined and winter-weather ready.

Useful for other things after. *nod* One of my birth brothers considered getting married on that day. Instead, he just got married in Crocs.

I got another of those plush monster dolls yesterday for my birthday.

three weeks from now, I'll be going on a zoo trip with the same group of friends I hung out with last time I went out socially. Then the next day is my birthday. I'm kinda hoping for money, and/or etsy and amazon gift cards.

hey, if my surname-sharing family gets me what I want, I'll be impressed. They're the ones who consistently disappoint me.

I think I got something from my birth family that I asked for... once. I could be wrong. LOL

And then there was the time my dad shocked the BEEEP out of me because he brought me home a purple T-shirt. I think I still have the remains of that shirt, but I could be wrong.

in the meantime, I'm about to make a mock-up of a pattern I drafted, just to see if I messed up drafting it, or if I actually managed to not eff up stuff.

:D I have one similar in chiffon that I wear with a long skirt or leggings, it too is comfy.
