I have fun news! I was accepted into the research track for my university so I'm going to be doing research for the next two years!

Congratulations! Do you get any advance notice about what you'll be researching, or will it be a complete surprise each time they assign you to a project/lab/professor?

I got to propose my own project actually and then the professor I'm working with worked out the finer details based on what resources we have available. I'm working with an ovarian cancer drug and I get to play around with it and try to make it more efficient.
