Kingdom of Knuffel

It is almost 9:15 PM and it is still 83°F/28°C out. and 68% humidity. I am GLAD I am in the basement... but I wish I knew where the rest of my wool is so I can start spinning the Icelandic once the Norwegian's all spun up.

Let's just hope it's not become an extra strength dustbunny.

So, yesterday I bought dolls. The day before, I bought dolls. Then, today, I thought I was scott free. And then this happened.

I found all of the remaining wool! it was on the couch, under a pillow. I've spun up all the white Norwegian wool, and I've started nålbinding, making myself a hat for now. I plan on using the Eider and Welsh to make mittens and a bag, and I'm gonna try and make socks with the Icelandic wool.

For some reason the place you found it hits me as hilarious.

it's just an example of me not wanting to justify the stuff that makes me happy to mom. Because she just acts bitchy about it, and tries to threaten me with financial restrictions when 1: my account is only in my name, and 2: I've been trying for FIVE EFFIN' YEARS to find work in town without so much as a rejection letter or email or even a "Hey can you come in for an interview?", so she really has no place to be trying to control me.

*hug* I'm still praying for you to have what you need in job, bed, and home.

Sorry for not being more active on things right now. I think I'm responding to all the changes the pandemic's brought by grieving.

I see it's the time of year to splat each other again...

And I've found myself to be very irritable as of late.

Yup. I'm done with the splat now. I don't need all three sets. Well, done unless Firn adds to the shop.
