I don't understand why people who want really loud stuff can't use headphones. It's like they intentionally want to make others suffer.

Oh no. *hug of sympathy for Den* That's one of the worst feelings.

They kept it up till well past midnight, and then started again today. Today it sounded some different, and there were just screams in it just now. I even tried going to ask them to turn it down, but they chose not to hear me knocking on the door or talking to another neighbour outside their door.

You know, you could call the police on them. Especially if they're blasting stuff after quiet hours starts.

Re - Headphones: I wear them when things are too loud.

I've tried calling the police, and building security (who just tells me that yes, that building gets a lot of complaints). By that time of night I'm usually too tired to be coherent, especially right now. Headphones, I can't wear. Ear pain isn't one I can block out, and headphones give me it (messed 'em up coughing too much, and getting punched).

I know. I'm half afraid they wrote me down as a prank call after the last call I made. Someone was yelling for help in the stairwell, but they got there and it didn't sound like anything. But the building security company told me to call 911, so I did.

They won't. If anything, they'll have a recorded history of the neighbor being a jerkface, which will help when they finally get off their bums and do something about it.

You have every right to have a quiet building after a certain time of night.

Meanwhile, I'm over here, coloring lineart that one of the TF comic artists shared for free on his Twitter for kids of all ages to color. and making faces at my drink, because I derped and added too much tumeric to it (almond milk creamer, mashed bananas, peanut butter, and tumeric), so now it's bitter in a weird way. I feel bad having to wash it down the drain, but I doubt adding more almond milk creamer would help. I don't have nearly enough of that to dilute the drink enough to make it taste good again.

Could alter the drink to make french toast coating? Or pancakes?

Aaaand no. The police won't do anything about the neighbour noise. Neither will the security people hired by the housing company. I am SOL.

Indeed. I understand being leery because of the virus, but they lied about it, too.
