Nah. I'm sure it'll clear up when I have my dad back home. I do eventually get some sleep. Right now I'm annoyed with my brother. I expected him to message me that he was ready to go visit our dad. He said an about hour he'd take me. It's been over the hour. Geez. He's not on right now for me to message him. I think he might be taking a nap. If I had known he wouldn't be here for a while, I would have been napping. Now I can't because I don't know when he'll message me. *eyes roll* Brothers. I don't have a driver's license and can't drive anyways. So I'm reliant on him. I wish I wasn't.

Okay now I'm rambling. I think it's boredom.

Saw my dad.
Turns out it he had a stroke. He says it's coagulating, but it's slow. He may end up on disablilty. Which means I'll be taking care of both parents. I got the shock of my life. He told my brother and I that according to the doctors, from the pain he was in he shouldn't have been able to wake up the second time. We almost loss him. So thank god (no offense to your beliefs) that he was able to get up and go to the hospital. He called our mom after we left, but didn't tell her, so I'm not going to tell her. I don't want her getting upset. I'll just have to keep a tight eye on him.

Again, I am so sorry to hear about your dad and the stress resulting from his situation....

Thanks. We were doing well. As soon as my dad messages me or calls us, I'm going to see if he wants my brother and I to visit. He may not want visitors today because he has a CAT scan. But you never know.

Yes, they are stunned though because they've never had someone like him in the hospital before. I mean they've had people come in from having a stroke, but nothing like him.

Honestly I'd take that almost as a good thing, because it means the better doctors will be interested (they might get a paper out of it!) so he'll have really good supervision and medical involvement; he's less likely to have an unnoticed error in his treatment, and a number of different people will be looking over each other's shoulders. Which means more minds thinking about his issues and more ideas for how to treat it.

Dad's doing alright. Good news he's out of the intensive care unit and in a regular room. So that tells me he's out of the danger zone. But that doesn't mean he's all better. But it means he's healing.

Yes, it probably means he'll be in their medical books. He's at UNMC and they've recently became the lead for Ebola treatments. So I trust them.

Thank you very much! It is. Though he's still having some difficulties, I live with my parents (and daughter) so I can take care of them.
