Shrimp as pets? That's unusual. :) Are they more entertaining than fish? I don't think I've ever seen them alive, just like... fried.

Crystal Cherry Shrimp
umm.. lots of others but I can't think of all the names.

They're fun to watch, especially once you put food in the tank xD little things are a-holes when it comes to food. Tug of Pellet is their favorite past time.. and now Tug of Green Bean >w>,

I cannot really imagine how they move in the water? I'm going to watch some Youtube to check... I'm curious now.
We don't really have pets, though Chili became our ginger outside cat friend. I don't know who he belongs to or what his name is, but he comes by to ask for food which we give him. The sun was shining again today, so he returned. He's just a good-weather cat.

They are weird little critters. They have these little bug legs that let them crawl on the tank floor. Then they have what's known as "Swimmer Legs" that they fan about if they wanna try to swim. But they don't swim for very long. oAo The swimmer legs also help 'fan' the eggs if a female is preggies (berried) gotta keep them tumbled to keep them viable! o3o if a female drops her eggs, then people get what's called a tumbler to help 'fan' the eggs themselves to try and hatch the shrimplets! o3o
I've 3 cats, 5 shrimp (i started with 12.. im a failure of a shrimpy owner QnQ) 1 ramshorn snail.. and a few pest snails (bladder snails)
My cats don't seem to care about the shrimp ._. kinda boring.

haha competition is always fierce, my kitties eat from each others bowl all the time but they let the other know when enough is enough :')

Hiro and Zeke are notorious when stealing each others food... Poor Kuromi =A= there's a reason I have her food in my room.. if i didn't, she'd hardly ever get to eat.. >:x
She's a dainty little thing. She'll eat a little bit and decide she's full and will save the rest for later.. only for Hiro to come gobble it all up while Zeke scarfs the food in his and Hiro's dish. >:x
