=A= A neighbor came home about 5-5:30AM last night screaming and shouting... woke me up. I then stayed up for a bit playing Happy Ranch before dozing off again.

wow was there a fight or sth? I'm lucky I've never had anything like that happen with my neighbours, only one of them has given me any sort of trouble and its usually immature pettiness :')

I only heard the one voice, not sure if he was yelling into a phone or if he was with someone who was ignoring him.

ugh why are some people so tone deaf! horrible how they can't think of anyone but themselves..and ofc if you were to bar them entry they'd make a fuss and you'd be the weird one when they're the one's who are stupid af

one of my colleagues has a teenage son, she got a call from a classmate's mom to set up a play-date between their kids and halfway through casually mentioned her son's best friend tested positive and had been over for the whole weekend before. She legit didn't understand why my colleague swiftly pulled a HELL NO to the play-date and urged her to keep her kid home and quarantined in his own room. How can these people be so stupid??

do they at least wear a mask? :x

Mom does, (or so she says... she probably takes it off once she's out of my sight.) they don't.


I'm worried that when I keep mom from going over there for like 2 weeks - till covid is over and done with, that someone will call adult protective services on us again claiming mom's being abused =A=

well if those adult protective services have their head on the right way instead of up their ass they'd realize immediately that protecting a family member from covid is the opposite of abuse and just fuck right back off

really wish you could also like report that 'someone' back for harassment and false claims etc

well its someone close enough to be on the look-out to report you. And if it'd happen after you deny your mom visits to someone, its only logical to assume that the reporter is someone who knows about the denied visits in order to make the call about it, aka them... right?

The person she visits always has 2 other people over, and one of them is the person I suspect for the last call. >:x

honestly, if things go as far as to really end with that person calling authorities on you. I'd file a claim with the police. And lay it on really thick that you're only trying to protect your mother from covid, stress out that you know the other person isn't following covid safety regulations and thus actively puts your mom at risk and their retaliation to your attempts to shield your mom from them are borderline harassment.

I will tell you the police is likely to state they can't really do much to help yadda yadda, but as far as I know an official statement does have to be made. It will be put on record, police have to file it down somewhere. And if reposts/claims should pile up... It probably sounds/feels like 'more work than result' but in these cases if it seems like they're really hounding you, why not build up a case and let nothing slide. If they want to act like a cunt, document that shit and call them out on it every single time
