Oh... I think I know what you mean. I grew up in a small town in the deep south sooo... got a lot of strange looks and comments about my clothes and stuff.

Really? I can't see why he'd care... I mean, it's your hair. And it's just hair. O_o

Being from around the same area as Den, it's actually not uncommon for some of the older men in the area to look down on anything not considered "normal" I live in a rural town myself and the very few times i've worn a pikachu winter hat i got years ago, I've had people ask me if it was for the vikings....

Lmao... reminds me of when they'd ask why I had a fishing hook in my lip back when I had my lip ring.

I draw a webcomic, which is linked in my signature. I've also illustrated a children's book written by my mom and nephew.

Oh, and drew a family portrait for some friends.

Speaking on the other subject here, I'm tired of people treating trivial things as "abnormal and must be cleansed".

I bet doing a children's book was fun. I need to get back into my art. But right now I'm sucked into Monster Hunter.

I was browsing your DA... the Bai Winchester art is amazing! :qlov:

Yeah, I have to agree. It tells you they don't have much of a life or are very unhappy people if they're so upset about what someone else's hair/skin looks like or whatever it may be. :qwor:

I noticed you had gotten that recently XD. I need to go back to that and world sometime myself, especially with the expansion for world coming out next month.

Yeah! xD Generations looks so good on Switch compared to 3DS! I'm still playing Stories on my 2DS though. We have World on the PS4, I need to start a new game. I only got a little ways into it before I got distracted by other games. What weapon do you usually use? I'm trying the bow out for the first time.

Thanks, Cat! I pushed myself since that was for a contest. One that I didn't get in the top seven for, but eh ^^; I learned a lot doing it.

I used to play Monster Hunter World but I get very frustrated with it because I am bad at predicting what the monster will do and I miss cues. So I faint a lot. My weapon of choice is also the bow. Sure it's weak, but my usual partner uses a heavy sword so it tends to work out with me tiring them out and them doing the actual work.

The angle and everything is awesome! I'm so awful at anything full body even if it's just from a straight forward perspective so that was impressive to me! xD

Yeah! I like that you don't have to stop and use whetstones! And it's pretty easy to move around once you get used to it. My partner also uses a heavy sword character so it works out really well. I'm still trying to figure out the special arrow coatings...

Edit: Still have 1048 water points if anyone is missing anything.

It feels really good to get a dragon arrow shot right down the center of a monster too. Of course, with my abilities, I start the dragon arrow shot just as the monster turns to face me >_>

I'm a bit unclear on the coatings also, but they appear to add partial debuffs to the monster. Like after several paralysis shots, they will get paralyzed. It's hard to tell for sure though since I don't know how it all works.

I love drawing people, and I often use models to help me get the perspective right. I did it with this picture as well as the one with Gal. I still draw it all myself over that of course, with any modifications to fat or muscle that are needed XD
