I wasn’t sure if I would get the posting reward for October so I got it from the perks. But if I do get the posting reward, I’ll probably throw the extra on my list. XD

The moons? The moons for which item lol? From the queens gift? Like the one currently in the donation perks for this month?

Yea I really love it too! I know I wont be getting the win from posting but I bought enough fcs (cause of the contest I ran lol I gave out 18 fcs in that for prizes) so now I have 2 of the bg!

Yes the the queen's gifts. The huge background ones. I love their design and color schemes

wow 2 of the BG! 1 would be enough for me lol. although, if i do get another in the posting rewards for this month, i'd put it up in my shop or throw it in the market. or something.

yeah those moons are pretty! i haven't really found a way to use them, i think, for me, its best to use them when my avatar is not so complicated, without so many parts sticking out......since all those parts would just cover up the moon in the background. XD

Yea it just happened like that. When I calculated how much I needed for the TTs and then how much for the event I was like okay 38 fcs? I might as well get 40 to get doubles!

Yea Im just gonna give them away as gifts/presents when I set up more contests or charities. But first i need to build up a stash to give away haha

I love the moons but they are definitely hard to work with. I failed 3 times trying to make something. Maybe I was trying to make it too cluttered?

fugg 38 FCs? XD;; i buy items almost the moment they come out, i don't wait that long, at least not til the point where it would require that many FCs to get everything lol.

well as i said, background items and backgrounds are only useful if your avatar itself is not so cluttered. like big hats/hair/wings and the like, they take up a lot of background room which defeats the purpose of having/putting details to the background. like you wouldn't even know that i'm currently using the new Queens background right now if i don't mention it pft.

Yea I dont get on all the time... I usually miss whole months. Then I have a lot of catching up to do. Usually 20fcs a month is good enough for me haha but I wanted to do a fun avatar contest too!

I will probably do it again! I think everyone who participated loved it so thats a good sign !

yeah layering would complicate the transparency. after all, you'd have to account for EVERY SINGLE ITEM ON THE SITE if you decide to do an item with transparency issues. at least, that's what i think would have to be done. since every item sits differently on the avatar so making stuff transparent would look different according to the other items being worn. *shrug* so you either have some background item in front of all the items, or behind all the items.

Oh god I can only imagine that coding nightmare.

yeap seems like too much work for it. But the bgs are so nice that I kinda just wanna look at them haha
