they went on until 11:45PM last night. the cats were hiding until 12:30AM. So far, I haven't heard any go off today.

Yay for a day of boomless peace.

I wish I could say it's been boomless here, but sadly we've had people still shooting them off, heck they started doing it back in late may/early june.

apparently, there were some set off earlier, but I didn't hear them, so *shrug*

Luckily less than expected here, but that's only "not every night for a week" because there's still more than I'm comfortable with.

I am so heartily grateful to be Canadian.

I used to really like fireworks before my ears got to be exceptionally sensitive at least.

I just don't care for loud sounds. Thunder isn't enjoyable either, unless it's a recorded thunder and not actual thunder that shakes the house.

House shaking thunder is the worst

it really is.
