Always nice to have an arrangement where both sides are happy, no one feels like they have the worse part of the deal etc c:

we don't have a tv haha, I watch movies etc on my laptop. My bff is going to get a small tv for her bedroom but we're keeping the living room tv free

Yes, that's definitely true!

We got the old tv from my bf's mom, otherwise we probably wouldn't have bothered getting one either :D
But it's nice to watch stuff on together, since on the pcs it's always one person has their comfortable desk chair and the other kind of needs to improvise seating. But I guess there's also a difference between living with a friend and living with your significant other there, I like to be able to cuddle on the couch while watching stuff together :)

I had a dream once that those extreme makeover people came to our place and did their thing haha and the result was both weird and amazing. I used to love that show so much!

I'm sure you'll get there, if not to exactly to how you want it then still reasonably close :)

Hm, I'm determined to try for the art part of your art contest this time, but I really don't know anything about that franchise.
Are we allowed to send you WIPs and ask for feedback, just in terms of accuracy-to-the-character/franchise?

Definitely feel free to do that, the fact that I basically only have text references to work on makes it so much harder, I'm well aware of that but sadly you gotta get that first real ref somewhere and I'm no artist haha

and the art I have linked is quite inaccurate I'm afraid but I really didn't want to kep paying for revisions and edits...

Oh good. And I've been getting a lot better about learning how to turn regular art into something that is in the computer, so I think I can actually do this!

(it seems like when it comes to new things, I learn them really fast unless it has anything at all to do with technology, and then I get cursed and my instincts are always 180 degrees from the right way to do it. My brother says he didn't realize how many ways there WERE to crash a computer until he watched me, last visit. So frustrating! But this will be the fifth or sixth time I've tried this, and that's getting along enough that I'm finally starting to not panic in the attempt. Huzzah! Progress!)
