This happens to me several times now haha! I love hugging people, but throwing water balloons are so much fun!!!

Welp I did it. I hugged when I meant to throw. I think maybe the made things a biit too hard. You score less points when you hit someone equal or lower all the items are expensive. I only get time to throw maybe ten balloons a day, and if I'm missing those....

It's true, you do get more points for hitting a higher rank, but you also get less chances to hit them.
If you focus on hitting equal/lower rank, you'll get slightly less points, but you'll be hitting more often, so it seems it's worth it to focus on equal/lower ranks than the higher ranks
I recommend to visit any subforum and just try hitting rank 1, by going for a "previous topic" button after each hit
