If you go to "Browse" then to "Giveaways" on GoodReads, there are tons of books listed for free every day. All you have to do is enter, and most of them are physical books that they mail to you for free if you win!

I just counted, and I have actually won 38 books through GoodReads! Most of them were mediocre. A few were really awful. A few were good. And a couple were really good.

yes I meant getting books through goodreads. I was asked to review a book once, a free copy. but that's as far as my freebies experience goes

Ah, I see. Did it come with a time limitation where you have to get the review up by or can you take your time with it?

and the person is very nice so I'm already a bit biased XD
not that my opinion of the book will be affected but the review I'll write may be. so I'm taking extra distance from the author and the book by reading more of other stuff XD
