Sounds like interesting weather, Tam. I don't envy those birds a thing though, being stuck out in it. :mcheh:

Spirit, what are the graphics like and what's the game system? o: It might be something I'm interested in if it's computer-available. :mcwink:

I've signed up for a MeetUp group in my area of Geeky people, I think I can actually make some real life friends this way. Plus, the group is doing FanimeCon, an anime convention in my area that I just enjoy. Normally I don't go because I wouldn't have anyone to go with, but I would with this group.

I'm scared, and contemplating going to see this movie I don't think I'll like at all just so I can get to know some of the people in the group before FanimeCon. My mom is going to go with me to the group thing, if I can get my dad to give me money. He did say if I needed anything to call him, so I'm going to take him up on that offer when I get the nerve to. Plus I think he will be ecstatic I'm actually leaving the house for something that's not therapy.

I'm going downstairs for a few hours tonight, it's dinner time and Jeopardy. :mchappy:

It's not graphic intensive, and it's on steam, it's a pc game only. I got it for cheap from Humble Bundle which is a bundling site that has a new bundle every week for real cheap(the one I got this one from was like 6 dollars for 8-10 games)

What's the game like? I've always been curious about visual novels, but I've never tried one because I don't want to run into anything X rated, and most of the ones they name in the Wikipedia page are dating sims.

LOL They're used to it. And youcandoit! *says the woman who would rather lock herself in the bathroom than see a movie I didn't like* LOL I did a meetup once. One of my biological sisters was with me, giving me stink eyes not to embarrass her by being a dork, and not to make her look like a dork by being too cool. I can't remember what I did now. I've also gone to things with groups from one church I went to for awhile, a therapy group I went to long long ago, ...and I think the group home that I lived at for awhile might have done activities outside the house. Can't remember that either right now, though.

Movies with strangers are always awkward. :mcheh: This is why I watch a lot of trailers from that movie first and pretend everyone is my bestest best friend ever who I can share my love of movies with. Oh, and gave out flowers again. :mcwink:

well, the character is a freshman at a magical academy and only 16 years old, so I doubt it'd go into the X rated catagory, supposedly there is a way to have small scale romance stuff in it, but I've not really gotten too much into it yet to see much, but from what I've heard, they have it where you can have a female love interest or male(character is female) but nothing graphic, this dev also did a popular visual novel called Long live the queen, and this one plays a bit similarly to that, and there was a small love interest section in that game, but very minor, I think this dev doesn't really like to go deep into it, though there is a planned sequel for the game that will have a male character for it.

I wouldn't call this one a dating sim though, the dev herself(pretty sure she's female) does life sims, but very little on the dating aspect, I've done mostly magic classes and a few social interactions but nothing major so far. there is one professor that is kind of a jerk in this, but I think from how some have said they liked him in the steam forums, he improves a bit character wise.

My day was okay, still find it annoying when I call for back-up on the register because I've got like 5-6 people in line and I'm the only one on the register, and then the manager calls me up asking why I need them and I have to take time out of ringing people up just to tell her that I need up ringing up customers. Seems counter productive if you ask me. =.=

I actually had some really nice customers even though it was for a tedious thing. XD So even though I would normally find that part of my job annoying to do I enjoyed taking care of those customers because they were so nice. XD And yesterday there was a customer that brought their doggie into the store but I didn't get to pet her! T^T It was a little dog, looked kind of like a Westy but she was smaller.

That sounds neat, since it's not very romantic I don't think I'd be interested in it though, I tend to lose interest when plots don't involve romance. :mcheh:

Eee, I didn't think of it that way. I was just worried about how they would take me and finding things to talk about. Plus how they would take me bringing my mom along for support... I'm just so scared of meeting new people, but I need to to make friends and live a happy life.

It's good you're finding things to enjoy about your job, I'm glad you are. Too bad about the unproductive protocol though. :mcgloom:
