I think anyone should be able to do what they want with their body; it's theirs after all. There are so many stunning tattoos.
I'm not sure if I'll get one myself yet; I really really like the idea of watercolour tattoos, so if I get one, it'd be one of those.

I've always wanted a simple black and white cheshire cat design on the back of my neck, but of course there is the whole "covering it up in the workplace" issue I would have to deal with...

Myself, I never had been interested in getting any tattoos - while I agree that if it's your body, you should be allowed to do whatever you please with it, I still do not feel any need to "decorate" myself that permanent way. But hey, I definitely loved those tattoos I got from chewing gums when I was a little kid, those were awesome!

I love looking at tattooed artwork, I appreciate the work that goes into it. I just don't care to have it permanently on my skin.

I've always loved tattoos and when my big sister got one(I was like 5 or 6 years old at the time) I thought it was so cool. Now when I look at it, I see that it's just one of those 90's tribal tattoos with not much personality. She's 14 years older than me.

I still love tattoos, but I feel like they should be more personal and have either a meaning or something like that.

I got two tattoos last year. My first one is of an 'Umiaq', a boat in which Inuit women sailed with. In old times women sailed in the Umiaq and men in the kayak. When my mother gave birth to my big sister she got a necklace of an Umiaq. So my tattoo is in honor of my mother. My sister got the same on the same day.
My second tattoo is a little less serious. I am of the opinion that life shouldn't be taken too serious and in my daily life(Uni) everything seems so serious and I needed a reminder that life just isn't so boring. It is a simple cute drawing by Chris Sanders(Lilo&Stitch, HTTYD, The Croods) and it just makes me smile :)

I don't believe that a tattoo with negative symbolism can cause negative things for the person wearing it. But I think that it can have an effect on the individual in that the person might not be able to let go of the negativity.

I like tattoos to an extent.
I am not sure that I would ever get one though. If i did I would consider getting wings on my ankles or back. :mccute:
I think they look neat, having a few, but when someone is completely covered in tattoos i think it doesn't look good.

I don't mind people being covered in tattoos just as long they can cover them up with long sleeves and long pants. Of course it depends on their age and what they do. Though I don't like people with tattoos on their face. Just doesn't seem very well thought through :/

I think that when all the tattoos flow together nicely it looks stunning when the persons covered in them.
Personally I want one I even have a design that's very meaningful to me thought of. But I am TERRIFIED of needles.

I wasn't that much scared of the needles, more of the idea that I could be allergic to the ink. So I think it's important to know the artist an make sure that they use the proper ink.

I understand that the needles can be scary, but maybe it can help if you find an artist that you can trust and is well recommended? And tell the artist that you are anxious about the needles. I think a good artist will know how to help their costumer relax. And perhaps bring a friend or someone who can hold your hand. I had my sister with me for my first tattoo, and I didn't feel well, but she held my hand and I made it through :D

I don't know if anyone's posted this yet (skimmed through the thread but didn't thoroughly read every single reply) but anyone with tattoos should totally use this when people start listing off reasons not to get one. Especially if you're a woman. xD

I don't have tattoos and don't plan on getting them. Not out of any opposition, but just because getting it done right is expensive, and a tattoo is really low on my priority list. There'll probably always be some kind of game or memorabilia or something else I want to use that money for rather than a tattoo. But they are cool, and I enjoy seeing other people rock them. :3

I'm pretty bad at keeping my material sales updated... So if you need some material and there's none listed in the market, feel free to PM me. :3
