Yeah, I geek out when Big Time Rush puts out a new album or when they are doing a concert near me. Yes, I'm almost 39 years old and love Big Time Rush.

I love Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire.
I love The Elder Scrolls series.
and I'm a bit of a Star Trek geek.
I also enjoy goofy horror, shows like Buffy, Lost Girl and American Horror Story.

There are quite a few things I can talk alot about...
Doctor Who, Cthulhu (Lovecraft's work in general), Pokemon, The Black Jewels, any good or rerally bad book I'm reading/have read (recently), any good or really bad game I'm playing or have been playing, cats, spiders, frogs.....

Can you geek out about music? because I do.
I used to be in Doctor Who fandom, and all kinds of TV shows, games, movies fandoms and so on, but the music fandom is most 'mine'. Does it make any sense? Yeah

What -doesn't- make me geek out..Well, I gotta say, I've always been a geek when it came to video games..though only a select few are my absolute favorites. I reeeeeally Geek Out with my socks out about The Black Dagger Brotherhood & Fallen Angels series by J. R. Ward.

I tend to geek out over things that: 1) have relatable, interesting, complex characters. 2) make a good story, especially if they're complex or have a good twist. 3) have a good concept to them. 4) are my brand of fun.
Anime: Oofuri and One Piece
Books: the Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner
Shows: Sherlock
Cartoons: Avatar: the Last Airbender, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe
Other: Welcome to Nightvale, my own writing/OCs
When I get to a certain point of geeking out, I end up buying an obsessive amount of merch.
Spoiler
It's hard for me to find anything Oofuri, but I do have a baseball, bat, and mitt keychain, as well as an actual bat and mitt.
I have a ton of One Piece merch; mostly keychains and straps, but also prints, toys, and other little things.
I collect my favorite books, including the entire series of the Thief.
I have Sherlock cookie cutters, DVDs, soundtracks, a shirt, the casebook, and some magnets. Most of these are gifts from my friends.
I don't have much Avatar stuff, but I did buy my brother the entire series for Christmas.
I have a plush of Waddles, the third journal, and a keychain.
I have no SU stuff! DX I would like a shirt, eventually.
I also have two large Night Vale and Desert Bluffs posters.

harry potter used to be a big one but it's been awhile... i need to re-read that series again
