it wasnt my first... ive watched way older anime like brain powered, sailor moon, saber marionette, etc. i like it but not that much...
my friend is an avid inuyasha fam.. she would die just to own an inuyasha shirt.. haha
well your story and mine is seemingly the same but i was way younger when i started watching anime and had no clue about the stuff... i was 2 and back then i called it "CARTOON" ..haha... big mistake.. i realized it was anime when i was 4.. haha

It was the anime that got me into manga/anime. ^^
Even now when I look back on it, it is still enjoyable, though it's not on my list of favorites.

That's exactly the same with me!
But my first anime was something on probably Digimon.

Sailor Moon was....back when toonami existed and actually played good anime XD Then followed, Tenchi Muyo, Ronan Warriors, Inuyasha, Outlaw Star, Trigun etc <3 <3 Midnight run <3 I miss that....

No....Pokemon was my first anime. Yugioh was the first anime I actually knew was anime.

.... This'll tell you how old I am, I'm sure.
My first anime was actually Speed Racer. I didn't know it was called 'anime', though. Then in junior high my friends introduced me to this show called "Dragonball", which they watched in Japanese on their computers. Soon enough I ended up interested in it, too. Then I moved away, and I lost interest in Dragonball... And finally I was re-introduced to anime through, yes, Inuyasha. So I guess you could say it was my first 'official' anime, since it was the first one I fully understood as being anime.. lol..

My first anime was Akira. My first series was Sailor Moon (which bored me to tears, but I watched anyway). I knew it was "Japanimation". When people started flinging around the term "Anime" I sat there and went "wha?"
