I think I'll stop with the next order until more die off. These ones are extremely hard to breed in captivity so until I can manage to breed them I'll just keep them at a 12-16 ratio.

They're expensive to buy but after that, they don't really cost all that much to keep alive. Just make sure they get a veggie with calcium and some shrimp pellets for protein and your good to go. They eat algea and biofilm otherwise. The rest is water changes when ammonia hits the tank! ovo

Ha it looks like they're throwing the food around! I can almost imagine cute squeeky noises being made while their lil arms just zoom all over the food :')

actually they sound like a relaxing sight, I always find aquariums and the like relaxing to look at. Ah, lil sea creatures just doing their thing, no care in the world.

They've been a great source of therapy for me. My counselor left her job for another, I got stuck with some jerk that doesn't seem to care. I missed a phone appointment with him, he yelled at my mom for it, I never called back to reschedule, and he never called back to check on me so.. yea.. I need to find a new counselor. xD

I think I'll leave that to my shrimp though. They make me feel better. <3

I also got some snails too. They came attached to the plants I bought for my shrimp. xD I find myself loving snails more and more. I have.. a handful of Bladder snails, all in an old pickle jar (one bladder snail is in the cycling 5g tank to help with some algea growth. His name is Houdini.
I tossed another into my cat's water fountain for the same reason >3> this one is currently unnamed.) The leader of the bladder snails is named Snaily.
I have what I think is a Ramshorn in with the shrimp right now. I named him Dude, like the character from Rio Bravo (Anyone a John Wayne fan should know this movie!>:o)

I joined a fish keepers forum, and mom's seen a crap ton of photos of Betta fish, so now she wants one of those. xD

God that's mental health care for you Demonskid, it seems good counselors are a rare find. I'm glad you can find some love with your shrimps though! My cousin collects snails as well, he has one or two that're as big as his hands. And he's a big guy so that's quite a big chungus
