I'll never forget being new to the game and I bought a perk because someone I watched play the game always used it.
So I was like "Ooooh I want that perk!" so I bought it.
I had a match with people much better than me at the game and one of them was a douchebag all match.
I was able to down him and hook him - my only hook of the match.
He got saved and left and I went to say gg and they called me a shitty player with a shitty perk.
It hurt my feelings because even though I lost, I had fun.
Other players told them I was new and not to be a dick to me - they defended me.
I was so upset, I smarted off to the douchebag and left.
I didn't thank those people for defending me and I still feel bad.

I don't have any issues with playing with newbies.
Since my rank is so low, I usually get new people on my team.
I have more patience for them because I was new once and made similar mistakes.
People will never learn how to play without playing.
Everyone was new once, so don't discourage them from playing, y'know?
I actually had a teammate that missed a bunch of skill checks, but I stayed with them until we finished.
I could have left, I could have insulted them, but I didn't.
I said "That's okay! If the Killer comes over, we'll go down together 8u"
And sometimes people miss skill checks while healing me and I say "It's okay - just relax 8u"
But people say "YOU SUCK GET GOOD GO KILL YOURSELF!" and it's so incredibly unnecessary and stupid.
It takes so little to just say nothing and so much to overly insult someone.

That's usually why I play games alone.
For some reason, I love Dead by Daylight, though ._.
So I suffer through the BS and just play with others and try my best.

I had a match earlier where half my team died and we didn't get to do much, but the Killer let me and my last teammate do gens and leave.
I took him to a hook and pointed at it, saying "You can kill me :3" but he shook his head no and let me escape.
I went to say thank you, but I got disconnected and couldn't tell them >Bu

Well, the points system is weird. He definitely got a lot of points because he killed two people, so it's not like he lost.
There is a ranking system where if you do good - you rank up but you also rank down.
The ranking system is stupid because if your team screws you or if the Killer is being an asshole, you get punished for it.

Example:

Say you get hooked and your teammate unhooks you with the Killer standing right there.
You get downed and hooked again immediately - which loses you points.
But you don't control being unhooked. You have no control of your teammates unhooking you and screwing you over.
But you get punished for it.

dumb team unhooks you and you get the punishment lol

talking about games, i haven't touched my switch in a while... i feel like i should get my money's worth ><

I had one match that really pissed me off.
This teammate kept rescuing me when the Killer was right there.
So the Killer immediately went after me and the same teammate kept unhooking me.
I was literally in the match for 15 seconds. Because the stupid teammate kept unhooking me in front of the Killer >____>
And of course the system punished ME.
How is that MY fault \uB</

i'm hoping they did it with good and innocent intentions xD but also the killer should have given you a break >8u

no idea. i haven't seen the game selections for some time. i'm just... going to wipe off the dust once in a while and play when i'm motivated lol

People say it's a strategy to keep going after one person.
To me, it's completely unfair and an asshole thing to do xD
I think my teammate was doing it on purpose.
There's times where people will help the Killer win because they're working together and it's against the rules to do that.
But I had no proof so I didn't report them Bu

Wonder if they have a game about someone who hasn't played their Switch in a while and wants to start playing the Switch again 8u

it IS unfair... but.... needless to say, still a strategy lol
