I have one of those sets of cascading hanging wire baskets for vegetable storage, and sometimes when the lower basket is empty I'll put dishes in there to dry. >.< An actual dish drainer/rack sounds much better!

We were actually really angry at ourselves for taking so long to get one once we noticed how useful it was :D
I mean, it's a super cheap item, just a bit of wire in the appropriate shape that's covered in plastic and you can put next to the sink. It's really incredible how much of a difference it makes. I can only recommend getting one!

I kind of don't want to give up the counter space, though?
Does it fold out of the way when it's not in use? Maybe I can get one that will fit inside the sink. Wash the dishes, put them in the rack, put the rack in the sink to dry, then put them away before I use the sink next....

Well, our sink has a part on the side that's meant for the wet dishes and it fits on there, so it's not really an issue. It actually saves some space since the plates used to take up most of that before and now they're standing up and you can still put other things in front of them, since the rack only covers about half of that area.
I could imagine that there might be foldable ones as well though. But putting it in the sink sounds like a good plan too.

Yeah... I'll take some measurements. We have plenty of strong wire, and some solder and flux, so I could probably make one without too much trouble. I just have to think about it first and plan carefully.

That's probably the simplest form to make it.

Hmmm, I might not trust the solder, it's a lead-based one so it's relatively soft. Maybe better to just do some wire-wrapping and bend things around to the right configuration.

Mh, that might be a good idea.

It's going to be a fair bit of work. Wire that heavy, well, it's not the simplest thing for me to manipulate. My hands and wrists are tiny, still, no matter how much I may want more muscle on them.

Going back to the doctor in two days, I have some theories on what is causing the pain, so hopefully that will pan out XD
