Yeah, fortunately it's difficult to really fuck up a planet. You can fuck it up for most of the things currently living on it, but the planet will continue and some things will survive and prosper again.

My thoughts exactly. We're fucking ourselves and every other living thing. the planet will be fine eventually, when we finally die out.

That's true. But many species are endangered anyway, even without our "help" and will go extict no matter what we do. Many species have gone extinct even before we were so destructive. I think it's just the cycle of our planet.

Yes, that's definitely true as well. Species going extinct is a normal process in principle. We're just accelerating it for a bunch of them.
