I read a couple and I found the same, taking too long XD After that I just stopped.
I found yet another book to download in today's email XD My list is getting serious.
Also.... someone left a book in the lobby of our building! It was there for a couple of days, and today, someone had thrown it inside one of the empty post boxes that no one is using. I was like, well, I'll take it then XD It's Let the Right One In and it looks to be in perfect condition, so I'm excited.

There are some exceptions though :D I looooooved Duma Key. Omg, this was so good. Rose Madder was also cool. But I read The Buick, Carrie and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon (at least those are the ones I can think of) and they took quite a while to be interesting.
Never heard of that one jacob, that's cool :D

It was quite a well-known Swedish film some time back, then everyone got offended because Hollywood immediately remade it :) Kinda funny as they had no reason to do so, the Swedish one is amazing.
I read Insomnia, and then I can't think what else. I just always remember insomnia because I have insomnia and that's why I was drawn to it XD

I've read six books so far this year, most of which before the end of January. College eats my reading time during the semester. Between the peer-reviewed articles and the textbooks, I didn't have time to read much else. I hope to read ten more books before the end of 2018. I already have five checked out from the library.

Hey Foxbird!
I feel you! I was in the same situation.
Now that I am working I do not read much more thought. A little maybe, but not that much as I would have expected!
I have to check bookbub out at work, I hope it works!! I need new books.
Uuuh a Swedish one! Tell me if it is good, maybe I will get it in Swedish then :) I guess it's a thriller or crime story?

I just got a bit excited when I read this! I've got that book sitting on my shelf right in front of me. I'd heard of both films a few years ago, and i'd heard the Swedish one is really good. Then I found the book second hand so I bought it but I haven't seen the film yet because I wanna read the book first. I started it earlier this year and it caught my interest but never got around to continuing.
@Julez I've also got Duma Key :D You're getting me hyped for these books
I feel like
If I Stay may have been mentioned here before? Has anyone read it, and what was your opinion on it? I found it today while I was in the city but I wasn't sure if i should get it or not..

@Julez Kind of a thriller I guess? It's about vampires, but just little kid vampires, so it has this weird-bloody-cute-violent-awww thing going on XD Well, from the film anyway, since I haven't started the book yet!
@Ghost funny XD I'll see if I get stuck at a certain part or not.
My reading challenge thingy on GoodReads has messed up. It says I've read one particular book twice. I don't know how to fix it D:

I haven't heard of "If I stay", but I just read the synopsis and it sounds cool!
Omg, I loooooved Duma Key. It is very thick, like over 1000 pages, but I've read it in less than a week. And that was during exam preparation xD
(I read it in German though, maybe that makes a difference).
Oh Goodreads, I keep forgetting about that!! Dammit!
And finally bookbub worked for me! Now I can start reading :) I already spotted some interesting free books there, it's amazing, thanks for sharing that!
Jacob, ah I see. I am not sure if I still like Vampire Stories.. :D

I didn't realise If I Stay was actually the first book of a series, so that put me off a bit because they only had the first book. I've also just been reading some reviews and there are a lot of mixed opinions. I don't put all my trust in reviews because they're just opinions, but still.. they help a little sometimes.
