I don't see why afternoon tea won't serve matcha. XD

Afternoon tea is British. Matcha is Japanese.
I'm pretty sure a British person would loose their mind at the idea.
Japanese afternoon tea places do serve green tea though and some might have matcha but it's still pretty rare.

I can't wait to sit down and drink that tea.

well i guess the chinese version of "afternoon tea" varies lol. xD

Would you like to share tea?

Wouldn't the Chinese version have oolong and something like mooncakes or something like that though? Or milk tea in Hong Kong but that still would be because of the UK influence.
In my head afternoon tea is the multi plates layered stuff with sandwiches and scones and usually Earl Grey or something like that.
Though I guess you could call any mid-afternoon snack afternoon tea as long as tea is involved.

Anyway XD

Yes, let's have some tea together! I found something great.

Well the way we use it, afternoon tea would be like anything eaten or drank in the afternoon lol. XD that’s what it’s always seemed to me. The Chinese for it literally translated is afternoon tea. And it’s anything from something small to like…dimsum at a restaurant lol. They even have a time slot for dimsum called afternoon tea lol.

I’d love to join you for tea!
