He has some restrictions on him so this was a step towards removing those restrictions.
Something that annoys me about the prison system and overall justice system is that they make people do their time and release them but make it as hard as possible for them to integrate back into society.
It's a system set up to make them fail.
So a lot of people do fail and it's like...they didn't really have much of a chance xD

I don't think jail is meant to re-integrate people back into society.
That's something they like to say, but it's not true.
You don't punish someone to teach them how to behave. Because that does no work.
You punish someone to scare others who might think of doing the same. You send a message ("think it twice before you do it, or else...") which may stop them for breaking the same rule.
The whole re-integration thing is phony imho.

They tell you to get a car, get a job, get a house but as a felon - a lot of places will not hire you.
So people often can't find a job and so they make no income and so they break the rules and end up going back to prison.
My dad is a non-violent criminal who will never re-offend but was treated like he was.
It hurts me to think people will see him as that forever.
And he's told me I shouldn't care what people think but I do.
He's a good man that made a mistake and payed for it.
He deserves a second chance.
And should anyone talk shit about him, I'd feel the urge to punch them in the face 8u

Tell me about it. I tend to push stuff down until I explode.
When I explode on people - their faces are always so shocked.
They don't expect poor little quiet Moi to lash out at them 8u
It's bad to have all that rage, but it also helps me.
When I get angry, I just stop being scared.
Normally, I'd avoid conflict and be scared of what people would say or what they'd do or what they'd think.
I just don't give a single fuck when angry xD
It also helps me physically do stuff too.
Like when I mowed and was worn out and our garage door decided to fall over on me.
Even though I was weak and tired, I said "Oh, no the fuck you don't >BU" and shoved it and it fell over xD
