It makes sense, London should definitely be at least your first experience of the UK ^^

@Limikkin haha yes but back then I would have wondered, "Who is that strange person waving at me?" because we did not know the context yet :D

We really like taking things from other cultures, so a British curry is a good one XD Actually there are some curries which were invented here and we just tend to assume they are Indian when they're not. A Sunday roast (with meat, veg, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy) is also a must (with a nut roast or some other alternative for vegetarians).

We also love pizza, burgers, and Chinese takeaways haha.... yep, mostly just taking from other cultures XD

Other big British dishes I guess but not as important: toad in the hole, bangers and mash, spotted dick, Eton mess trifle, afternoon tea, egg and cress sandwiches, scones with jam and cream (also part of afternoon tea), Bakewell tarts, sticky toffee pudding, cheesy chips, battered onion rings or sausages... probably many more if I sit here for longer XD

We give stuff stupid names ._.

OMFG I die for custard creams. When I was really little my parents thought they had lost me for a bit because I climbed into a cupboard, shut the door after me, and went to town on a packet of them. The love has never abated haha

LoL! My local grocery store has a special "Tesco" section so I always grab some if they have them in stock. They seem to have trouble keeping them and the Bourbon creams (which I also love) in stock. :mclaugh: :qh:

ooooh yes, bourbons are like the second runner-up as they're basically chocolate custard creams.
Anyone that has not had them should try them immediately :D

I made myself hungry :qoops: :qoops:
