That's good to hear, Nel. <3
I did myself. xD
I only doodled while working, but I don't do that kind of work anymore, and thus I don't have that lovely notepad anymore either :(
I even gave up on digital drawing since I totally sucked at it and my tablet doesn't work in Photoshop on my Mac. So I only do vector now.

If you use gimp (which is free) I think it better than MS paint for digital art. Though I love traditional art but I think they harder than digital to master. I wish I can learn vector but I am too lazy and it sound hard.

EVERYTHING is better than MS Paint. You have to be a bloody jedi master to get something good out of it.
And as mentioned before, I use Photoshop, not GIMP, which is practically free as well with a little effort, and actually works professionally.
As for vector, it's so much easier, that's why I use that instead of Photoshop. :')
Still I can do traditional better than pixel. I totally suck with drawing in Photoshop. >>
I use Photoshop as it was once intended to be used ;D

I always hear GIMP is shit. But I never used it, so I don't know.

Either there is something missing in that sentence or I just can't follow you^^"
Ember: Yay! Hope he will be nice to you

I seen amazing work on gimp on DA but I do agree it suck. Line art take forever.
Never try vector or pixel so I have no opinion. I did try pixel but I never finish trying it.

Whoo I seem to be confusing. I've read my sentence over and over and I don't see anything missing, but I'll rewrite it. :p
For me drawing in vector is a lot easier, so that's why I draw in Illustrator (the program which uses vector instead of pixel) instead of Photoshop. Because you can't draw vector in Photoshop. Clearer? :p
And with drawing in pixel I didn't mean pixeling, I meant... aargh darn how do you explain that. If you draw in Photoshop, you draw with pixels. Not one by one like you do with pixeling, but when you zoom it in a lot, you still see all the little squares which are the pixels. Magnified. If you draw in Illustrator and magnify the image - not when it's been converted into a .jpeg or .png for example, but the pure .ai file - you don't see those pixels. No matter how big or small you make it, the image stays the image it's supposed to be. That's because it's drawn with vectors - with lines, to keep it in normal language. You can do anything with it, but it will never lose it's quality. That's why Illustrator is always used for design goals like logos.
So I mean normal digital drawing how you know it. Not pixeling. That's a whole other style. :p
Have I cleared that up a bit? Point is that you draw in pixel. xD
And yeah awesome designs have been made in MS Paint as well. That only proves how skilled the maker is, since the program is hopeless. So it's either a noob program which produces crap, or it can be seen as a master program only for the best. If you can create beautiful art in Paint you're on top of the art world.
Take Firn for example. She works in GIMP. I think we all agree that the outcome is beautiful. But that's only because of the skill, that doesn't make the program suck less. xD

Oh look at this. If I understood correctly this should be an MS Paint piece of art.

I think you just missed to say Illustrator. Because then it all makes sense to me :P
Doesn't Flash do the same? I don't understand that programm but it kinda looked like what you are saying about the vector stuff.
Since I have SAI I don't use Photoshop anymore. Okay maybe for cutting and changing colours and stuff but drawing itself is so much better in SAI.
I think I got the first stage done.
