I have one older brother, my mom has 3 siblings and they've got 5 kids among them. Then on my dad's side there's also 3 siblings with all their kids but those nieces/nephews are all older and don't really do gifts much. The oldest niece however has 2 kids and those I like to spoil :P
Papercraft/scrapbooking is totally my thing for gift making. I love making those kind of envelopes/gift boxes that fall apart and spread out. Then add cute lil notes, memories and gifts etc inside ~
Your perler art is pretty! I mostly made those kinds of things when I was younger and it was all the rage c:
Julez; eh when she comes by the store I'm polite and we can make small talk like nothing is wrong but I'll never like her xD
Just that I'm obvious above being mean to her so I'm fine being nice to her she just won't ever be invited for coffee. Forgiven but never forgotten c;

Wouldn't those be cousins? Your parents siblings kids? Cousins.
Your brother's kids would be your nieces and nephews.
Like I have 10 cousins on my mom's side.
I have 2 nephews and a niece from my brother and sister.
My husband has 1 brother and he has a son and daughter.
I like that kind of art too. But I don't really know how to do any of it. The way that you're describing it sounds super cute. I'm sure people love those as presents.
Thanks! Yeah, I played with them when I was a kid too. Now I do much more complicated designs. lol.

I have no idea what the difference is in English cause in Dutch it doesn't matter so much c':
we have like niece and nephew, and the distinction is just between gender.

Oh, that's super interesting!
We have super specific titles for most parts of family.
Cousins are your aunts and uncles kids.
Niece and nephew are specifically your siblings children.

we basically add the distinction on our own by saying 'this is my niece from my mother's side', 'this is my nephew, my brother's son' etc c;

That is actually super fascinating.
In German it's pretty much like in english, we have Neffe/Nichte = nephew/niece and Cousin/Cousine = cousin (but it's pronounced differently, actually kind of french sounding).

A lot of English is based on German so that makes a lot of sense.
Though for most things we don't have male/female differences.
Like cousin is just cousin. No difference between genders.
