We've probably got at least 15 rats in our backyard/roof. Not good
It sounds nice and sunny where you all are. The weather here is confusing: this morning it was so freezing, but then it was hot when i was walking home ??
And going back to Ready Player One. I saw the movie a while ago now. If you get the chance to see it I would recommend doing so. It's pretty good and has an interesting concept behind it, which is apparently slightly different from the book. I'll find out next week when I read it.

I had a wild rat in my garage this winter. He was so destructive! I have four pet rats, and they're destructive too!
We're having kind of crazy weather here too. Very cold today.
I am going to the vet tomorrow, so I might get a little reading done.

One time I was staying at J's parent's house before we lived together. We were camping out downstairs on the pull-out sofa bed when I heard scratching noises. J said it was rats and then laughed, and said it was their dogs, so I put it out of my mind. Next morning all our snacks that were left in the room were eaten -__- Right through the packets and everything. Turns out, because of flooding in the local area, the rats got desperate and ended up biting their way through into the house somehow to get to our food.

J, this sounds horrible!
Must have been a weird feeling knowing they've been in the house while you've been sleeping there :o

Yep. The night after that I even saw them. We slept in his room upstairs after that XD
Oh I forgot to mention - some of the snacks were on top of shelving and tables. They weren't just on the floor. Glad they didn't come onto the sofa bed and wake me up or I would have freaked the hell out.

It doesn't surprise me they got on the tables. I was outside all night working the other week and i saw some rats climbing uP THE WALL.

I used to hear rats scuttling across the roof while I tried to sleep.
