I have a lot of thing tutorials on tooling so you don't need to do that.
I am getting more into traditional art. did some character headshots
which actually came out...okay.

Thats good. I haven't done any traditional drawings in a bit.

First traditional work I've done in a long time.
I normally only sketch in my sketchbook for studies but decided
to do some traditional works as in the near future I want to paint with gouache.
So decided I could make some doodles.
They turned out unexpectedly decent.
So I am pretty happy about that.

Gouache painting sounds interesting.
I'll like to buy some acrylic or oil paints in the future and paint on some canvases.
Art turning out better than expected is always a nice feeling.

I'd probably just do flats with it.
Not really sure.
Especially after so long just doing digital art.
I think last I did actual traditional works was maybe 2 years ago.

I've drawn in my sketchbook so it hasn't been too long since I've done traditional art. I need better pencils and erasers.

I desperately need one of those kneaded erasers.
The eraser I was using while sketching kept smearing and
almost gave my doodles a permanent mustache.
I would've been so mad if that happened.
I also need a better mechanical pencil. The one I have works fine but
0.7 lead for me is way too thick.

Ah, your doodle having a permanent mustache would have been unfortunate. XD
The pencils I was using were on the thick side. I had a mechanical pencil but I don't know where it is.

Yeah. it always smears dark markings that i can't erase.
So new erasers are going to be a high priority for me lmao.
All of mine the lead is just too thick.
So I am using these artist pencils my sister had but still pretty new to using them.

Good thing erasers are on the cheap side.
I'm going to look into buying some "artist" pencil and erasers in the future. The pencils and eraser I have now are from an art set. They are alright and my eraser doesn't smear but they aren't the best quality either.
