This thread is making me realise how terrible my eating habits get when I'm under stress.

Li li I can top that in unhealthiness
Today I had instant noodles for breakfast and lunch (two different kinds though), with a taro paste cake and a bag of chips in between.
I did have a banana too, that's like my one piece of healthy for the day XD

Well, bother. Now I want to go do some baking.
Don't have any taro on hand, though.
Um.
Might still have some ube jam in the pantry.... that could be morphed into a semi-acceptable substitute. Maybe. Ummmmm.

I mean berries and cream sounds delicious. What kind of cream do you use with it?
Never had a taro paste cake before but I am intrigued. I must Google what they look like first.

I didn't take a picture XD It's just a jar cake I got from the store (it was very good though). So basically layers of chiffon cake, whipped cream, taro paste, and taro-flavored cream? Should be fairly simple to make too!

the same in the three meals!
Even if it were healthy it would be extremely boring ¬¬
Berries are very healthy though

Yeah.... boring, but delicious. And we can't forget easy.
Rubie, as far as what kind of cream, it was cow's milk cream. It was just the stuff you skim off the top when your milk separates, so it wasn't anything special.
Anyhow, I was better today. Grabbed out a packet of frozen greens, picked a bunch of fresh oregano to pad it out, cooked it up with olives, and flavoured it with cumin and garlic and powdered chilis and a splash of red wine vinegar. Thickened it with bread crumbs.
And then remembered protein is important, and opened a tin of sardines.
So... all the food groups, really.
Or close enough.

I don't know if I can get taro where I live? I do know there's an small Asian grocery store around but no clue where it's at. (I only know because I worked with an Indian co-worker and she shopped there a lot)
Ooh okay for some reason my brain was thinking something else idk why.
Didn't eat a whole heck of a lot because... family reasons I guess.
Breakfast was bagel with cream cheese, then later on a hashbrown from McDonald's
Lunch. Lol what is lunch. Has a granola bar at some point.
Supper. I went out for a surprise bday party but it was at 7 and then the waiter that was supposed to wait our section never came in so took even longer to order since they were short staff so I didn't eat until 8:30 (which is practically bedtime for me tbh). Long story short, I got a meatloaf sandwich and tator tots. I got half the sandwich left so probably eat that for lunch tomorrow if I am not stuck doing more family stuff tomorrow.

@Rubie: If you don't have taro, I find that sweet potatoe/yam made into paste tastes basically the same (it just doesnt have that soft purple color is all)
I actually had some interesting foods today so I'll share:
For brunch my mom made noodles with marinade broth (basically this very very deep and savory broth made from stewing meats with a whole lot of spices and soy sauce and I don't even know what). You only need a few spoonfuls of the broth added to boiled noodles to make it tasty!
Then I went out to shop and the seaside with my bestie, for dinner we had calamari, fish and chips, and grilled fresh catches of the day (tuna, wild salmon, shrimp) with quinoa and veggies.

Yesterday I had leek and potato soup for lunch, with some seeded bread and for dinner it was some veggies, potatoes and vegan fish fingers (lol)
I've run out of coffee and I keep forgetting to go out and buy more ): I'll have to try to go today in my lunch break perhps.
