Sadly so many people link 'liking a character' to 'condoning their actions' or agreeing with them on their point of view/personalities c':
I love Umbridge
- But she's such a bitch!
I know I love it haha

It takes some really good acting to be such a mean character when you're such a nice lady yourself c':

I bet it does. My dad was always a fan of Arthur in the movie. He thought he did a brilliant job portraying Arthur. But it was funny to us to see the Dalmatian thief as a magician hahaha. Books wise, I think my dad liked Ron a lot and always thought that apart from Arthur Rupert was kind of exactly what he’d imagined Ron to be.

None of the actors and actresses were spot on from the start to me, but they really grew on me and over time they clicked into place so to speak and now I do share the opinion that they are the characters. Its still a pity that Richard Harris passed away, he made for a great Dumbledore imo

Dumbledore never felt the same after he died. I really did not like the acting of the new Dumbledore especially in the 4th movie. Found it clumsy.
For Ron was spot on. Oh, and Draco as well. It felt as if I had known them for yours. It was the others that grew on me.

I like Michael just as much as an actor, but Richard was Dumbledore after just a few scenes for me, and Michael never managed to appeal to that kid inside of me that went 'oh he really sounds like Dumbledore o:' at Richard haha
For me Alan Rickman was perfect the moment he appeared on screen, I saw him and went 'oh yes yesssss that is my Snape right there'
ofc that's because he was one of my fav actors already and that Snape was my fav character from the beginning, so I was quite complacent in letting him replace my mental image of Snape I had when reading c':
