Kingdom of Knuffel

I named them the first thing that came into my head, but if it doesn't work, then the name would be based on the element.

When I go look at my knuffels names..I honestly cannot say why I chose what I chose.

There's only like..three or so that I named after OCs of friends of mine(with their permission). The rest, I guess I just put some letters together and hoped it wasn't stupid.

Well, I'm a hopeless otaku/Japanophile/weeboo, so basically all of my Knuffels are named in Japanese. The regular ones have names that somehow connect to their element, like one of my light Knuffels is named Asa, which, among other things, means "morning". And my wild Knuffies are named after anime and manga characters they resemble, So I have Asuna, Excel, C. C., Dejiko, Ciel, Ritsuka, Vivi, and so on.

I'm name them by precious and semi precious stones.
But sometimes, when I see some of them, there is a pop up in my head "name it that !".

Usually.

I usually just pick random names depending on what or who each Knuffel reminds me of.

I just name them with whatever comes to me.

I choose names I think sound cool or named for a character I like.

Most of the time, I pick a name at random... I look at the knuffel and think "Oh, you look like a robert ! And you, you're an Alice !"
Otherwise, if the knuffel reminds me a character (from films, animes, books or whatever), I generaly choose this name.

I like the way some people have thematic name... I've never though to do that ^^
